Binh Tien is one of Ninh Thuan's least visited beaches — fine white sand, crystal water, no big resorts. The year-round strong winds make it a famous kitesurfing spot in Vietnam. Sunsets at Binh Tien are stunning.

September-November (heavy rain). If not kitesurfing, avoid November-February as wind is too strong and waves are rough.

- Not booking accommodation in advance — very few options, fills fast on weekends
- Expecting many food stalls — bring your own food
- Unfamiliar motorbike riders — the access road is narrow and bumpy
