Vast white salt flats with salt farmers harvesting at dawn. A breathtakingly scenic landscape.
Why go
Ninh Thuan is one of Vietnam's largest salt-producing regions. The Ca Na salt fields are especially beautiful at dawn — pink light reflecting off pure white salt, farmers carrying loaded baskets in and out. A rare traditional agricultural landscape.
Timing note
Rainy season (September-November) — no salt production, fields flooded. Only scenic during dry season.
Avoid disappointment
