Rainy season (September-November) — no salt production, fields flooded. Only scenic during dry season.

- Arriving late — salt farmers work 5-9am, go home at midday due to heat
- Not asking permission before photographing farmers at work
- Walking into the salt pans — damages the salt and is dangerous

- Arrive at 5:30-7am to shoot sunrise over the salt fields
- Located along Highway 1 near Ca Na Beach — easy to combine both
- Bring a camera — extremely photogenic scenery
