17th-century Cham tower, less visited than Po Klong Garai but with beautiful views over the plains.
Why go
Po Rome Tower is the last Cham tower built in Vietnam (17th century), dedicated to King Po Rome — the last king of the Cham kingdom. Smaller than Po Klong Garai but far less visited and more peaceful. The views down over the flat plains and Phan Rang grape vineyards are beautiful.
Timing note
Midday (12-2pm) — harsh sun, no shade. No particularly bad time otherwise.
Avoid disappointment
