Why 5-7 Days?
This is the sweet spot. Enough time to go beyond the standard tourist route, relax without rushing, and experience Ninh Thuan's full range: ancient towers, protected coastlines, highland escapes, and kitesurfing beaches.
This itinerary assumes you have a motorbike or car. Public transport in Ninh Thuan is limited.

The Route Overview
Base 1: Phan Rang (Days 1-3) — Culture, vineyards, nearby beaches Base 2: Vinh Hy (Days 4-5) — Snorkeling, Nui Chua trekking, remote coast Base 3: Binh Tien (Days 6-7) — Kitesurfing, Song Pha valley, northern coast
Day 1: Phan Rang Arrival & Cham Culture
Morning: Arrive in Phan Rang. Check into hotel/homestay.
Afternoon:
- Po Klong Garai Tower (7km west) — 1.5 hours. Ninh Thuan's most iconic Cham site.
- Bau Truc Pottery Village (15km north) — 1.5 hours. Watch traditional pottery-making, browse showrooms.

Day 2: Vineyards, Ninh Chu Beach & Ca Na

Option B: Song Pha Valley (Any season)
- Drive inland to Song Pha valley (40km, ~1.5 hours). Highland landscape with Raglai minority villages, Sakai waterfall, cooler temperatures.
- Time needed: Half-day to full day depending on exploration depth.
Evening: Sunset on Binh Tien beach. Final seafood dinner.
Overnight: Binh Tien or return to Phan Rang if flying out next morning.
Optional Extensions
Add Day 8: Ca Na Salt Fields
- Detour to Ca Na salt fields on the way back to Phan Rang. Best visited December-May during salt harvest season. Watch workers rake salt into pyramids, photograph the geometric patterns.
Add Day 9: Nam Cuong Sand Dunes
- Closer to Phan Rang and actually in Ninh Thuan. Good for late-afternoon photos, but move lightly and respect areas used by local residents.
Accommodation Notes
Phan Rang: Mix of hotels (300-800k/night) and homestays (200-400k). Book near the center for easy access to restaurants.
Vinh Hy: Homestays (300-500k) and small resorts (600k-1.5M). Book ahead in peak season (January-April).
Binh Tien: Beachfront bungalows (400-800k) and guesthouses (200-400k). Accommodation is basic but beachfront location is excellent.
Transportation
Motorbike rental: 100-150k/day in Phan Rang. Gives maximum flexibility.
Car with driver: ~800k-1.2M/day. Book through your accommodation. Less flexible but comfortable.
Self-drive car: Possible if you're comfortable with Vietnamese traffic. Rentals available in Phan Rang.
