When Not To Go
Rainy season (September-November) - slippery, dangerous. Midday (12pm-2pm) - harsh sun, temperature can reach 40°C.
Avoid disappointment
Common Mistakes
- Hiking without enough water - need at least 2 liters/person
- Going alone without notice - if injured, hard to rescue
- Wrong footwear - need trekking shoes, not sandals
- No sunscreen - skin will burn badly
